A hidden valley where you and your loved ones can come for a few days ,or even weeks, to relax in nature, have amazing daily activities, sleep in exotic spaces or under the stars, and get to connect with like minded people and with mother earth.

At the Summer Camp organized by the culture association "Raiz Del Viento", you will live very close to nature, shaded by green cooling trees, bathing in an amazing natural pool, dance, sing, listen and play music, learn new things and take part in many kinds of inspiring activities that will nourish your soul, body & mind.
​
Become a member of the association "Raiz Del Viento" and join for a nature vacation, a healing process, a peaceful time alone, with friends or family, eat healthy food, join to nourish your soul with deep knowledge, to be part of a community, to move your body, to shift unwanted behaviors, or Just to see what it truly feels like to live a simple life in love with your own being and with nature.

The venue
The secret valley is deep in the Alpujarras mountains in Andalucia Spain, 40 min for Orgiva, 75 min from Almeria, 90 min from Granada Airport & 120 minutes from Malaga Airport.
​
A mini climate ecovillage with a round pool, a small river, numerous chill out and recreational spaces, as well as countless campsites possibilities close to nature.
​
This valley was developed step by step for the last 18 years, and became a heaven with many kind of shady trees, fruit trees, self sustainable systems, and lots of art installations all harmonized with the nature.

The program
We have created a fantastic 62 day program filled with daily activities.
Every week there will be cacao ceremonies with singing circle, intimate solo concerts by various artists,
Ecstatic dances and parties,
open stage jam sessions, inspiring workshops,
morning meditation or movement and daily children activities -
All inclusive for the visitors as part of the Summer Camp experience.
In addition, you will be able to participate in weekly 3 to 5 day courses on a variety of inspirational topics - with special extra contribution to the facilitators:
Building with Clay, Art & music improvisation courses, contact dance, eco sustainable life style, Communicating with plants and much more.

Food
Food is all inclusive for the association members, our menu will be available day by day,
and We encourage you to take an active role in cooking from time to time, become connected to the food you will be eating while discovering magnificent new vegan dishes.
We will have simple & healthy vegan food using natural ingredients,
and using many fruits, vegetables and herbs from the local gardens.
we will eat 3 meals a day,
herbal tea and water are available as self-service.

Accommodation​
All Association members are welcome to sleep in different areas of the camp.
The space is limited to about 20 adults at a time (and 7 children).
You can choose to stay in our family caravans,
Tree huts or clay houses for couples,
camp with your own van or tent,
or sleep on a comfy magical "Star Bed" in nature.
​
In all cases you will be given a mattress and you will have to bring your own beddings. ( sheets, blankets, pillows, towels)
​
*You will be able to switch your accommodations during your stay, and enjoy the different environments the valley has to offer.

Coworking
There is no internet signal inside the camp area.
If you need internet, you can go to the valley's entrance,
where there is a signal.
​
If you need to work while at the camp, please contact us and we will reserve you a spot in the "Hub," a co working space in a house in the village that is only a 1-minute drive or a 12-minute walk from the camp. There is fiber-speed internet, a communal kitchen, and pretty cool chilling spots in the hub.
​

Kids Area
We will have Children activities Mondays to Saturdays from 9:30 till 13:30.
And also on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00 till 20:00.
A professional kindergarten / teacher from the camp team
will make different activities in the kids area,
painting, singing, sculpting and many nature related topics
will be part of the daily routine.
Every day the capacity of kids will be around 7 Kids,
between the age of 4-10,
if your kids are younger you will have to be with them in the activities.
If your kids are older then 10,
they can still join the activities, but more likely to find their way around the camp and decide for themselves...

How to join the camp?
You can join for a minimum of 3 days (2 nights) - to maximum 60 days.

The location
Once you become a member of the association,
we will contact you with a few inquiries,
after which you will be provided the location and arrival options,
and you will be good to go.

About "Raiz del Viento"
A non profit association.

This association was born in 2019 in Granada's Alpujarra with a strong vision: the unity and connection of all the cultures that live together in the area.
To bring this vision alive the vehicle was always Art, Creativity, Culture and harmony in nature.
The association provides spaces to expand consciousness, love & creativity.

The Camp rules
The Summer Camp is about forming a community life.
For all of us to feel comfortable and peaceful at all times,
there are some rules we must all respect.
By joining as a member in the summer camp you consciously agree to follow these rules:

No drugs or alcohol are allowed within the camp space.
The camp is based on conscious ways of life.
​
No fire making is allowed in all camp surroundings.
Upon arriving at the camp,
you need to know that you will be given an agreement to sign,
joining the "Raiz del Viento" association,
knowing you are entering an experimental environment,
living very close to nature,
staying in sustainable structures
and having your own travel or local insurance,
being responsible for your own safety and your children's safety, and for your own belongings.

Personal cooking in all camp spaces is not allowed,
As a member, you will be able to take part in the cooking by assisting us in the communal kitchen.
If you have allergies or special needs please tell us
when you fill the form.
bringing your own processed snacks is not allowed.
( Healthy unprocessed snacks are allowed).
​
The camp has daily community life,
therefore respecting others' space is very important.
As we are also running workshops and courses,
some visitors might go through an emotional process,
please be sensitive to your surroundings.
Every few days we will have sharing circles
that will give us a safe space to support each other,
and we advise you to join these circles,
specially if you are joining for a longer term.
No dogs are allowed. Sorry.

Kids under the age of 3 are not recommended,
but if you do bring them,
you will have to keep them very close to you at all times.
Only natural- bio-degraded shampoo, soap & tooth paste are allowed,
please do not bring any chemicals, its all going back to the ground.
ALL THE MEMBERS CONTRUBUTIONS WILL BE RE INVESTED IN THE ASSOCIATION'S ACTIVITY.
